Kamaji Kickstart
Her Summer Story Starts HereA “day camp” introduction for prospective campers to be part of Kamaji’s program, participate in activities, enjoy delicious meals, and discover firsthand why Kamaji is known as the “camp for nice girls”.
Why Kickstart?
Kickstart campers will get to try camp activities like archery, paddleboarding, or sailing. They will get a tour of camp, share meals with current campers, and participate in an all-camp Evening Program to really get a sense of the “personality” of camp.

Saturday:
1:30: Kickstart Family Welcome
1:45: Meet Kamaji’s Directors
2:00: Camp Tours
2:45: Activity 1 with “Kamaji Kin” (buddy)
3:45: Activity 2 with “Kamaji Kin” (buddy)
4:45: Free Period Tubing with Kamaji Kin
6:00: Dinner
7:30: All Camp Program!
8:45: Parent Pick-Up
Sunday:
8:45: Arrive at Camp
9:00: Traditional Gooey Roll breakfast
10:45: 1st Period Activity (Chosen by Kickstart Camper)
11:45: 2nd Period Activity (Chosen by Kickstart Camper)
1:00: Lunch
2:00: Friendship Bracelets & Questions (Parents Join)
3:00: Parent Pick-Up
Parents will get a tour of camp, time to visit and ask questions of Kamaji’s Directors then head into Bemidji to enjoy any number of great restaurants and local “to dos”! Campers will not spend the night in the cabin but instead enjoy a “day camp” program and spend the night with their parents in town.
COST? Free!
