A Message From Our Directors
Hello Kamaji ParentsWe feel so honored to partner with you to help provide your camper with a summer filled with fun, learning, friendships and new skills in an unplugged yet truly connected experience.
Hello! We are Kat (Martin) and Jason Nelson, and together we direct Camp Kamaji for Girls
Your camper will learn how to waterski and horseback ride, learn life skills like problem-solving and compromise, make lifelong friendships with people of different backgrounds, religions, races and places AND knowing that these experiences will impact who they are and what they do as they grow older and become adults. You are providing her with an opportunity to make lifelong memories, create connections with people outside your home “bubble”, build confidence, take safe risks, experience the small (and big!) joys of childhood and feel supported and celebrated – it is a foundation for the rest of her life.
We know how hard it is to entrust the well-being of your daughter(s) to another, so please, if at any time you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. Like you, we are parents – we believe in partnering with you to provide this impactful summer camp experience for your camper!
While there is valuable information provided here online, there is a lot more information including camper forms, the Parent Handbook, medical information, camp pictures and updates all available to you when you log into your CampInTouch page.
Always,
